About FAMCO-TX

FAMCO exists to expose a serious flaw in Texas family and civil law, which encourages people to lie to the court system and file unlawful orders, unjustly ripping apart children and parents - often permanently.

Approximately 70% of protective orders (permanent restraining orders) are filed with false allegations. Sadly, less than 5% of those false orders are beaten. The reason is simple: Texas courts do not apply a fundamental concept to protective orders that is deeply embedded in the American legal system and constitution - innocent until proven guilty. The court wrongfully places the burden of proof on the defendant to prove their innocence rather than placing the burden of proof on the plaintiff to prove guilt. Texas courts require only accusations, and no evidence, to approve a protective order.

Thousands of innocent parents are permanently separated from tens of thousands of children each year as a result of false orders in Texas. The same children annually remain under the sole custody of a parent who has no shame in lying to the court system and no remorse for the collateral damage - causing permanent emotional damage to their own children.

The entire Texas judicial system is aware of this problem and accepts it, even though it's completely contradictory to justice, with most attorneys blaming incompetent and inexperienced elected lawmakers in Austin.

FAMCO embraces the concept that a society built on a foundation of truth is more likely to promote ethical behavior and discourage deception. FAMCO stands firm in its belief that any information considered rumors, hearsay, defamation, or "my side of the story" does not promote truth and thus will not be a tactic in FAMCO's strategy. FAMCO is committed to publishing truth supported by hard evidence and facts in its mission to hold those accountable for misinformation and abuse.

FAMCO has established relationships with top Fort Worth area civil attorneys and local officials to ensure its efforts maintain a truthful and lawful approach.

FAMCO Founder

FAMCO was founded by a father in Southlake, Texas whose wife filed a protective order and restraining order against him in September 2024. His wife's court filings contained proven lies and she did not provide the court any evidence - she only submitted a 3-page dishonest written declaration. As he fought against the orders, he suffered through several weeks of not being able to see his children and tortuous thoughts of losing them forever.

FAMCO's founder beat the orders after it was revealed that his wife filed the orders against him just two weeks after he peacefully confronted her about marital strains resulting from her falling in love with another man after a continuing affair and her financial losses.

The fight continues now that FAMCO's founder has permanent joint custody of his children. A local law enforcement agency, who is aware of the nature of his ex-wife's previous filings, provided FAMCO's founder information of criminal complaints she made against him in June of 2025. Once again, the complaints were completely baseless and his ex-wife provided the agency no evidence and only allegations. She indicated plans to return to file more complaints in an attempt to build a criminal case against him. Fortunately, the agency is aware of the law, has determined no offense has occurred, and has done no further investigation into the claims.

FAMCO's founder has experienced the full extent of a manipulated and broken family court system. A grassroots effort has recently begun to make a positive impact for parents and children who are victims of false protective orders. Robert Garza, former Texas mayor, is at the forefront of the movement (robertgarza.us). FAMCO's founder shares a common experience with Mr. Garza and he is joining the effort. It has now become his life-long mission to advocate for change and to pursue justice and accountability.

How FACMCO Aims to Achieve its Mission

How FACMCO Aims to Achieve its Mission

How FACMCO Aims to Achieve its Mission

  • Expose individuals who have filed a malicious civil order by providing a forum for parents to share the full extent of the fact-based account of their situation.
  • Legislative change to reduce malicious civil orders by requiring that the petitioner provide hard evidence to support the filing – not just a written declaration with no supportive grounds.
  • Legislative change to provide severe consequences when allegations are proven false such as loss of custodial rights, punitive damages, and criminal charges.
  • Guidance for parents to beat a malicious civil order.
  • Financial support for parents who are unable to pay for legal counsel and therapy for emotional distress.
